The Ark of the Covenant
|
|
The commandments put into the Ark of the Covenant.
Deuteronomy 10:1-5, 8
1 At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.
2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which
thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.
3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.
4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the
day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.
5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.
8 At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.
The words of the covenant are the Ten Commandments
Exodus 34:28
And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
The Ten Commandments were in the Ark of the Covenant, written on stone tablets. They are the only verses that we are commanded to post in our homes (Deuteronomy 6:9). Therefore, the Ten Commandments is the most important passage of Scripture.

Commandments draw crowd to Okla. Courthouse THE
ASSOCIATED PRESS
TULSA, Okla. -- A group of pastors fired up a crowd of more
than 300 people during a rally around a monument engraved with the
Ten Commandments on the Haskell County Courthouse lawn.
U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn spoke Saturday at the gathering in favor
of the monument, which a recent American Civil Liberties Union
lawsuit says is a sign of the government favoring one religion over
another. But Coburn and others who were vocal at the rally contend
that the statements listed in the Ten Commandments are guidelines to
a moral, law-abiding society regardless of religious beliefs.
"I wish this was in every courthouse on the lawn,"
said Coburn, R-Okla. "We need more of this, not less."

Kentucky
Counties vow to continue Ten Commandments fight.

Plaski and McCreary counties that lost their battle to have the
Ten Commandments posted at their Court House, have voted to continue
to the legal battle and go back before the Supreme Court. Kentucky
Counties Vote to Take Ten Commandments Case to Trial McCreary and
Pulaski Counties, KY - Kentucky officials in McCreary and Pulaski
Counties, in separate sessions, voted to continue to defend
courthouse displays that include the Ten Commandments. Both counties
are prepared to take their cases back to the United States Supreme
Court.
The counties are represented by Liberty Counsel, a national
litigation, education and policy organization. On June 27, 2005, the
Supreme Court issued a ruling on the Ten Commandments. In McCreary
County v. ACLU of Kentucky, the Court ruled 5-4 against the display
of the Ten Commandments in McCreary and Pulaski Counties. There, the
Commandments were part of the "Foundations of American Law and
Government" display. Justice O'Connor sided with the 5-4 majority
which ruled that the display had a religious purpose because of the
history of a different display prior to Liberty Counsel's
involvement. On the same day, the Court issued a 4-1-4 decision in
the Texas case. The Texas monument was upheld because it had been in
place for 40 years with no obvious religious purpose.

Illegal
Rulings by Federal Judges.
|
|
|
If the Federal Government is barred from the Constitution,
Amendments 1, 9, and 10, from making a ruling in a matter, and then
a Federal Judge issues an illegal order in that matter, then is the
ruling from the Federal Judge legal? Therefore, did Judge Roy Moore
take the correct legal position when he disobeyed the Federal Judge.

WHY
DID JUDGE ROY MOORE DISOBEY A FEDERAL COURT
ORDER?
|
|
|
Simply stated, the order of Judge Myron Thompson was unlawful
because it contradicted the United States Constitution. The Federal
Court declared that, "the state may not acknowledge the sovereignty
of the Judeo-Christian God." However, the First and Tenth Amendments
to the Constitution prohibit the federal government from interfering
with the right of each state to acknowledge God. (See video of cross
examination of Chief Justice Moore on November 12th, 2003, the day
prior to his removal from office. Click on link below and watch
video.) The message is ready to be sent with the following

Activist Judges across the Nation are removing every mention
of God from our public life. "Under God" has been taken from our
Pledge of Allegiance, "Christ" has been taken from Christmas, and
prayer has been removed from our schools.
These same judges have redefined marriage to include the union
of two men or two women, and have taken God-given "inalienable"
property rights from citizens, for the economic benefit of private
commercial enterprises.
But the greatest danger we face is the loss of "religious
liberty," which the U.S. Supreme Court in 1931 and 1946 recognized
as coming from God. Nevertheless, in Judge Moore's case, Judge Myron
Thompson expressly stated that the state may not "attribute to that
God our religious freedom."
Who then really violated the law? Clearly the federal judge
did, not Judge Moore. No person, to include a federal court judge,
has the authority to place himself above the Constitution he is
sworn to uphold, and no man can put himself above the God upon Whom
he has taken his oath.
The rule of law is the Constitution! To obey an unlawful order
of any judge is to place the rule of man above the rule of law. The
prophet Daniel, in Daniel 6:16, and "Peter and the other Apostles"
in Acts 5:29 knew better and so should we! |
