Second Annual Southern Christian Memorial Day and Ten Commandments
Rally will be held at Hemming Plaza in downtown Jacksonville.
Southern Christian Memorial Day - Ten Commandments Rally
Come to
a rally to honor the Ten Commandments as the foundation of our
nation's legal traditions on Saturday, April 16th from 11:00 a.m. to
2:00 p.m. The Second Annual Southern Christian Memorial Day Rally
will be held at Hemming Plaza in downtown Jacksonville. The park is
located between Duval & Monroe & Laura streets, just across from
City Hall. Parking is plentiful and free on Saturday, or park free
at the Convention Center and ride the people mover.
This
will be a family friendly day of inspiring speeches, Country and
Christian Music and fellowship. The cost is free and there will be
great door prizes, too.
Alabama
Chief Justice Roy Moore said it best: "It's time for Christians to
take a stand." Our country was founded by honorable and God fearing
men, whose intention it was to leave to their posterity a legacy of
freedom.
This
rally, part of a grassroots' effort to faithfully and courageously
advance the cause of our country's founders, is for ALL people who
consider themselves loyal Christians. It has one unifying premise:
The American South must return to its founding principles if it is
to survive.

Tom
Parker, America's highest elected Ten
Commandments Judge, issues statement on the
handling of the Terri Schiavo.

Alabama
Supreme Court Justice Parker Condemns Terri's Killing
Montgomery -- Alabama Supreme Court Justice Tom Parker calls the
state-sanctioned killing of Terri Schiavo a "shameful miscarriage of
justice."
"The
most fundamental duty of civil government is to defend life,
especially for those most vulnerable and least able to speak for
themselves," Parker said. "The forced starvation of disabled Terri
Schiavo ordered and upheld by appointed judges and aided and
abetted by elected officials represents the ultimate violation of
this duty."
"The
Declaration of Independence, the founding document of the Unites
States of America, states that 'we are endowed by our Creator with
certain inalienable rights,' including the right to 'life'. An
inalienable right is one that may not be taken away not by a
husband and not by a judge so those condemning Terri to death, and
those supporting that condemnation, have perpetrated a great
injustice," he said.
"Some
public officials who refused to act to stop Terri's unjust killing
are claiming 'the rule of law' kept them from acting. But the rule
of law is not whatever a judge says it is; that would be the rule of
man. The unpopular truth is that when a judge issues an order
contrary to a higher law such as the Constitution, that order is
void and should be resisted by the leaders of other branches of
government who took their own oaths before God to defend the
Constitution. Whether directly involved or not, every branch that
refuses to act in such case becomes culpable too," Parker said.

Chief
Justice Roy Moore issues statement regarding
Terri Schiavo:
|
|
Statement By Chief Justice Roy Moore
"The
Terri Schiavo ordeal is a national travesty and a harbinger of even
broader judicial abuses of power. In recent years judges have
dictated our morality, and presumed to tell us when life begins. Now
they have also declared when life should end."

A
few words of advice given to you by one of the
world's most successful political leaders:
|
|
All the
commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do,
that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which
the LORD sware unto your fathers.
And
thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee
these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove
thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep
his commandments, or no.
And he
humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna,
which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might
make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every
word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
Genesis 26:5
Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
Exodus 15:26
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt
do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will
put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
